| The Seal of Tennessee |

|
The Seal of Tennessee was introduced in 1796. Even thought the style has changed over the years, the concept has remained the same. In the seal, there should be an image of a plow, a sheaf of wheat, and a cotton plant all under the roman numerals XVI, which symbolizes the 16th state to join the union. In the center of the seal, it should say "Agriculture", and along the bottom it should say "Commerce". Around the whole seal, it should say "The Great Seal Of The State Of Tennessee" and "February 6th, 1776", the date of the states constitution.
